Rene Benavides

Rene is on a journey that is simultaneously personal and professional. Committed to reclaiming the power that exists in her body, she works to co-create accessible spaces for people to engage in radical forms of love, healing, and transformation. Rene finds flow between the personal and professional when coaching and facilitating from a place of curiosity, connection, and presence. As a candid, grounding presence in the world, she builds bridges for people to find each other in moments of emergence.

As a founder, facilitator, coach, and designer, Rene has developed a broad range of skills and has found a variety of contexts in which to apply them. Not only is she the founder and CEO of Vision to Action Collective, but Rene is also a leader on the Seneca Family of Agencies team and a certified somatics coach with a master’s degree in social work. In addition, Rene has held fellowships with the National Equity Project and School Retool at the Stanford d.school and is a member of the Design Justice Network, the Latinx Center for Excellence in Behavioral Health, and the JTN California Healers Network.

Experimenting with the interplay of design and embodiment, Rene imagines what is possible so that she might design and embody it. She is committed to her freedom and liberation because she knows that this work will contribute to all people's emerging freedom and liberation.
