APPROACH

We believe design offers a gift—a new way of seeing people's humanity, wholeness, and needs—allowing innovation to emerge.

OUR APPROACH

The pillars of our work are clear- Liberatory Design Thinking, Embodied leadership, and Emergent Strategy. We will approach any project or problem by practicing design thinking with those post impacted and those in-power to set the conditions for the solutions they build to land and evolve.

THREE PILARS

Liberatory Design
Thinking

We practice Liberatory Design , which is an approach to problem-solving and creating solutions that focus on promoting equity, justice, and liberation for marginalized communities.

Embodied

Leadership

Making change is not a light lift. The ways we lead sets the conditions for others to make change as well. Embodied leadership is the practice of leading from wholeness, integrating our bodies, emotions, and mindsets in how we engage with others and make decisions. Embodied leaders seek alignment between their aspirations and behaviors. This allows for their authentic leadership practice to drive how they attend to the needs of the team and the context around them.

Emergent

Strategy

We approach change management with an Emergent Strategy. Drawing on the work from adrienne maree brown, this approach requires us to emphasize flexibility, adaptability, and learning from the circumstances as they unfold.
